General specialist services

In the State Office for Heritage Management and Archaeology Saxony-Anhalt (LDA), Dept. 3 - General Specialist Services is responsible for the areas of Archiving (archives, the Collection), Editorial Services (editing publications, distribution), Scholarly Technical Services (graphics/cartography, photography) and Information (library).

The archives, library and collection are the cultural memory of Saxony-Anhalt. They are responsible for the recording, administration, availability and secure long-term preservation of its cultural heritage in relation to conservation of historic monuments and archaeology, in physical, archival and published form. The in-house publications present research results and communicate them to the public.
